Are you ready for the ride? What are you waiting for?#1. HAVE THE RIGHT MINDSETWhether you think you can, or you think you cantyoure right. Henry FordYour mindset can determine a whole lot about your life. This could, in fact, be the most challenging aspect of knowing how to attract more money into your life.Learning how to reset your mindset and transforming it into one that welcomes prosperity is key to your success in life. This is not difficult to do, but it usually requires a lot of commitment, effort and quite an amount of determination to think only about the positive aspects of life. However, with constant practice, you will definitely grow accustomed to it. It is important you always remember that you deserve financial stability, wealth and comfort. This is perhaps the most important thing. The harder and more frequently you work at this, the more efficient these practices will be.Learning to change your mindset is important. If you want to learn how to always have a positive mindset, you can check out this youtube video: #2. BECOME A CHEERFUL GIVERIf you would take, you must first give, this is the beginning of intelligence. Lao TzuIf you want to receive wealth, you must first learn how to give out wealth. Providence has a way or repaying you much more when you show an act of kindness by giving. This might sound quite funny, but its so true!Learn to share what you have with others. The act of giving can be likened to the theory of enlightened self-interest. If you are kind to others, share what you have (even in the simplest ways), and don’t cling to money, you will open the door and receive more bles sings.According to the money habits that separate the rich from the poor, Jim Rohn gives some secrets to prosperity and he acknowledged the fact that charity will help you attract money faster. You show charity by giving back to the community and helping those who need assistance.Jim suggests that about 10 percent of your after-tax income should be set aside and contributed to this cause.Start learning to give at an early stage when the amounts are small so that it will be easier to give large sums of money (still 10 percent or more) later. If you develop the habit before the big money comes your way, it becomes easier to give. The more you give, the more you will get. This doesnt mean however that you go beyond your limits or sorely miss whatever amount you gave away.If you won’t go hungry and someone needs it more, don’t cling to it, give it out.The act of holding on tight to your money places more emphasis on the not-having-of money and will taint your ability to attract money. That’s how the Law of Attraction works. Give with a good heart, and you will receive.#3. DONT BE A SERVANT TO MONEYView your paycheck as a means to an end.You have to learn to take control of money and stop serving it. If you have this servitude towards money, it begins to dominate you and you tend not to have it or be able to attract it.This, in fact, is one of the biggest giveaways of a poverty mentality. Seeing money as an end in itself is a negative perspective towards money. Most people view money as a master, something they have to work for to enable them to pay bills, keep up with debt and make ends meet.If you continue with such kind of thinking, money will ways be just that to you. To attract wealth in your life you will have to take control of money. As Dave Ramsey famously said: “if you don’t tell every dollar where to go it will tell you where to go.”Money can either be manipulated to work for you or it will work against you.Once you begin to see money as a tool w hich is under your control and is to be used for your benefit, then you are already on track to attract wealth in your life. If you want to get back into the drivers seat of your finances, and drive towards wealth and success, set a budget, plan financial goals and tell your money what to do.If you want to know more about becoming the boss to money, you can read this powerful and beneficial post on 6 ways to quit being a slave to your paycheck.#4. STOP WORRYINGThere is nothing that wastes the body like worry. Mohandas GandhiAccording to the Law of Attraction, you will create what you focus your thoughts on. This means if you keep on worrying and focusing on the negative aspects of life, you may bring those negative, undesirable things into existence in your life.If you continue telling yourself how miserable you are for a long enough time, you will truly become miserable. Lack of money will ever be your song if you constantly trouble yourself with worrying about when your next payc heck will come. This law is not saying you should ignore your problems (if you do, how can you solve them?) by sweeping them under the rug, it is, however, emphasizing the need of being in control so that your problems dont consume you.On the flip-side, however, if you keep on telling yourself and affirming that you are rich, you will become rich. In order to learn how to make the law of attraction work for you, you can check out this youtube video on positive affirmations. It will really change your life! #5. VISUALIZEYour imagination is powerful. It can literally open doors you never thought possible to open before. In fact, imagination is the basis for the powerful law known as the law of attraction. To attract money, you must visualize your financial goals and meditate on them. Visualization and meditation will make your goals much more clear and makes them become so much easier to achieve. When you take a look into how you want your finance to be, you will come back to reality mo tivated, giving you the required vigor to open the doors to your success. If you want to be successful, you must be a dreamer. Successful people were in every sense dreamers. They started out as dreamers and lived to manifest their dreams. If you want to really see the power of visualization, you can start off simple by envisioning yourself wearing items of clothing that are a bit out of budget or picture yourself owning a great Business. If you can imagine something, you can make it manifest! In fact, visualization is one of the most powerful talents our spirits have. You have to tap into this talent and use it to your benefit!Imagination is so powerful and hence, you have to keep on envisioning yourself being successful because you get just what you envision whether good or bad.To start off with some powerful creative visualization pointers, you can watch this youtube video by the Founder of Mindvalley Vishen Lakhiani as he walks you through four simple steps to hone on your visuali zation skills. #6. BE A PROBLEM SOLVERWhen you solve peoples problem, you will also solve yours too by attracting to yourself more money. If you begin a business, it has to solve a problem or problems before it can be successful. In fact, almost every successful business is built around solving a problem. If theres no problem to solve, you can create one (winks). Attracting wealth into your life can become super easy if you become someone who solves problems. When you begin to solve problems, you will quickly become the first pick when people are seeking a solution to certain problems. The best part of the story is that you get to negotiate the best deal on your own terms. Therefore, if you plan to start up your own business or partner with someone, it is important to ask what problems your business will solve. To know more about solving problems, you can see this article on how you can find problems to solve.#7. INVEST IN SKILLS, NOT STUFFWhen you have so many skills, people will natur ally run to you with their money.Think about it, if the first thing you do when someone hands you 100,000 dollars is to buy a new car or lavish it or some other luxury item, then you are absolutely not living with a mindset that will attract wealth. To attract more wealth, you must build your skills with what little money you have now. The best investment you can make is an investment in yourself. You can invest in yourself by broadening the horizon of your knowledge, developing new skills, and increasing your awareness of a variety of topics.Doing this increases your ability and confidence, and puts you in a position to make more money.Investing in yourself will help you to become a better and wiser investor. Great investments in your life include books, programs, seminars, and education. No matter the level of turbulence in the economy, it is impossible to take away the investments you have made in knowledge and skills. This is perhaps the only ingredient that many people lack. Stoc ks can go bad, the housing market may collapse, but your real worth remains the same and ever increases.Have you ever noticed how some millionaires lose it all only to earn it back in record time? Do you also remember people who couldnt recover from their loss? The people who had it all back and more, were able to achieve that feat because they invested in their ability to make money. When you invest in yourself, you become a better problem solver â€" the secret to being successful in business.CONCLUSIONCongratulations! If you have read this through, you will have discovered how to attract large sums of money into your life.Never think of yourself as a pauper or an average person, you are born to be great and have greatness within you!Remember, you attract what you think!I really do hope these tips helped. Go make that money! See you at the top!

Finding Your Best Fit School Spotlight on Emerson

These Are a Few of Our Favorite Things... This week, our Marketing and Student Enrollment Coordinator, Sarah, tells us about her experience at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts: My favorite thing about Emerson College was definitely the academic environment. All of my classes were small and hands-on which made it easy to learn, participate, and be heard. Coming from a small high school, this was something that was truly important to me in identifying my best fit colleges. The unique thing about Emerson is that you aren’t just learning – you are doing. So many of my classes were spent in studios and labs where I could take advantage of the school’s amazing resources. If you are in a creative field, there is a good chance you will graduate with a very useful professional-grade portfolio. And the Emerson experience extends far beyond the classroom. Organizations such as WERS, the student-run radio station highlighted for its frequent live-performances; Ploughshares, the nationally acclaimed literary journal; and the Cutler Majestic Theater, the beautifully restored opera and playhouse, always made me feel like I was part of something great and dynamic. An alumni network including Jay Leno, Dennis Leary, Bobbi Brown, Kevin Bright, Max Mutchnick, and Seth Grahame-Smith, and the passion of my fellow students, made me and still make me proud to be an Emersonian. While Emerson is classified as a Liberal Arts school, if you are looking to figure out your future career path by dabbling in several different options, it is probably not the best fit school for you. For the most part, students at Emerson are super focused and have been developing their creative resumes for years. As the only liberal arts school in the country solely devoted to communication and the arts, Emerson attracts a very specific kind of student with very precise goals. That said, there is definitely room for growth and exploration within the offered fields. I started out with a major in Print Journalism and in my sophomore year decided that I wanted to focus more on graphic design and the industry as a whole. I was able to change my major to Writing, Literature, and Publishing, and apply my already completed coursework towards a minor in Journalism. In addition, Emerson has a general education curriculum, which was the source of some of my favorite classes including America n Sign Language, Weather and Climate, and Contemporary Art. My other favorite thing about Emerson was the location. No quad here! While surely not an ideal for everyone, I loved the city campus. Step outside the Ansin Building or the Little Building, and you are on the Boston Common (where classes are often held in nice weather). A few more steps will lead you to the Public Garden and Newbury Street. Hop on the â€Å"T† at the Boylston stop and in minutes you can be at Fenway Park, Harvard Square, or the Museum of Fine Arts. And although being a Massachusetts native I admit I am bias, more than 300,000 college students seem to agree, there is no better place to go to college than Boston. Insider Tip: Collaborate, don’t compete! With so much talent in such a small place, some students lose site of the fact that it is college and should be a supportive learning environment. Use your fellow students as a resource rather than as your rivals – put your heads together and see what you can come up with!

Aristotle s Role Of Luck And Chance As Causes For Change

When discussing probability, a text of my previous reading came to mind. Within the lecture Physics II, much of Aristotle’s work is concerned with providing a definition for various events and subjects, and as such, identifying the types of causes for each event is an important step in accomplishing this goal. Aristotle specifically investigates the role of luck and chance as causes of change. Although we commonly speak of luck or chance as being a cause, Aristotle purposefully refrains from including them in his explanation of causes. When giving an account of our observable world, I agree with Aristotle in that there is no place for luck and chance as causes of events, yet I believe they do have a role, namely in predicting future events. Aristotle specifically separates causes into four different categories, material cause, formal cause, efficient cause, and final cause. He defines these causes as â€Å"that from which, as a constituent present in it, †¦ the form i.e., the pattern, †¦ the source of the primary principle of change, †¦ something’s end† . Respectively, these describe what something is made of, the form or pattern to which is corresponds, the original source of change (closest to what we would associate with a â€Å"cause†), and the purpose of the change. Using the creation of a sculpture as an example, Aristotle provides the bronze of a statue as a material cause, the shape of the state as the formal cause, the actual sculpting of the statue as the efficient cause,Show MoreRelatedAnalysis of Moral Luck Views of Aristotle and Epictetus Essay1462 Words   |  6 PagesAnalysis of Moral Luck Views of Aristotle and Epictetus Aristotle, the founder of western science, and Epictetus, one of the greatest stoicists, both has their theories for the issue of Moral Luck. Understanding The Core Self Evaluation Scale - 1646 Words

Almost, Doran, Hall and Laschinger (2010) linked antecedent variables to intra-group conflict among nurses. The purpose was to develop and test a theoretical model, which linked antecedent variables to intragroup conflict among nurses, followed by conflict management and two outcome variables (Almost, et al., 2010). The authors used Cox’s (2008) Critical Theory, where conflict is deemed a process, with antecedents and outcomes. The method of the study was a predictive non-experimental survey that tested the theoretical model. The sample for the study included 275 acute care nurses who were chosen from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registry. Six-hundred nurses were randomly selected from the CNO, but for the purpose of maintaining accuracy in estimates the number was decreased. Almost et al. (2010) used six different tools in the study. The Core Self-evaluation Scale ([CCS]; Bono Judge, 2003). The CSS has twelve items, which use a five-point Likert-type scale. The scale measured self-esteem, generalized self-efficacy, locus of control, and neuroticism. Almost et al. The authors used the Unit Technology Scale ([UTS]; Leatt Schneck, 1981), which had 21 items and used a five-point Likert-type scale to measure the complexity of nursing care on the unit. Rhetorical Analysis Of 9 / 11 Speech - 1321 Words

On September 11, 2001, George W. Bush delivered his 9/11 Address to the Nation at 8:30 PM to all Americans. This speech, broadcasted throughout the nation from within the Oval Office just hours after the terrorist hijacking and the crash on the Twin Towers, reassured American citizens during a time of devastation and need of proper leadership. (Eidenmuller). Through rhetoric intended to convey strength and the actions America had already taken to combat this tragedy, Bush instilled hope in the American people and provided them with a sense of unification. Throughout the speech, a major rhetorical theme are the anaphoric phrases. Wrote Bush, â€Å"today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very freedom came under attack in a series of†¦show more content†¦From this manipulation of the word evil, one can find the more concealed connection Bush is making; between America and love. As America is the opposite of terrorists, America therefore must also be the opposite of evil, love. Due to these connections and associations, there is a greater emphasis on Bush’s other rhetoric theme, his biblical allusion. He quotes psalm 23 as, â€Å"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for you are with me† (Kohn). From these connections, one can infer that â€Å"fearing no evil† represents the terrorists, and Bush is telling the citizens of America to be strong and not concede to fear. From the use of diction and allusions, there is a much larger emphasis of the ideas being conve yed in the speech. Bush uses ethos within his speech to establish himself to the public. Ethos is seen when he states, â€Å"Immediately following the first attack, I implemented our governments emergency response plans† (Kohn). Bush clearly establishes himself as a proficient leader. This phrase reflects in Bush’s actions, as both are clear and concise. Another statement in which one can see the same type of establishment is when Bush disclosed, â€Å"I have directed the full resources of our intelligence and law enforcement communities to find those responsible and to bring them to justice† (Kohn). Glass fibre is laid across the loft to reduce heat transfer out of the roof. Glass fibre traps air and trapped air is a poor conductor therefore reduces heat transfer from the ceiling to the loft by convection and conduction. How the thicknesses of the loft insulation affect heat loss? As you increase the level of insulation in the loft, it will slow the rate of heat loss and maintain the comfortable temperature for longer. Installing 290mm thick insulation can save up to approximately 20%, compared to thin insulation which is only 14% The pay back time is long term Generally, loft insulation cuts loft’s u value rom around 2. 3 (for an uninsulated loft) to 0. 16 W/m2K, a reduction of around 95%.
